§ 2-102. Private police.

Private policemen performing special police duty for the benefit of and at the expense of private persons may be commissioned by the city council on application in writing. Each private policeman so commissioned shall be subject to the orders of the chief of police and shall be governed by the rules and regulations of the police department.
