§ 6. Regulation by other agency.

In the event that the company, its successors or assigns of the system which it or said successors or assigns operate, shall hereafter become subject to the jurisdiction of the Alabama public service commission, the federal communications commission or a similar regulatory body and said company, its successors or assigns fail to comply with the rules, regulations, orders or conditions or any such regulatory body having jurisdiction of the company, its successors or assigns as aforesaid, then the city shall have the right to terminate and cancel this franchise after written notice to the company and continuation of such violation, failure or default.
