§ 26. Payment to city.

The grantee shall pay to the city annually the amount of two hundred dollars ($200.00) or an amount equal to five (5) percent per year during the term of this franchise of the annual gross operating revenues taken in and received by it on all retail sales of television signals within the City of Hoover, Alabama and its police jurisdiction during the year, whichever amount is greater, for the use of the streets and other facilities of the city in the operation of the CATV system and for the municipal supervision thereof.
