    The procedure for review and approval of a subdivision plat consists of two (2) separate steps. The initial step is the preparation and submission to the planning commission of a preliminary plat of the proposed subdivision. The second step is the preparation and submission to the Planning Commission of a final plat, together with required certificates. The final plat is the instrument to be recorded in the office of the Judge of Probate, according to the procedures set forth herein. (Ord. No. 01-1813, § 2, 5-7-01)

    Proposed subdivisions which do not contain public improvements shall require the submission and approval of a final plat only. In such cases, however, the fifty dollar ($50.00) administrative fee and notification of adjoining landowners shall be required, as set forth in section 2 of this article. (Amended 3-14-83)
